Art at the Society's Premises

The millennium project for our Society has been the foundation of an artistic centre in the main hall of the King George V Band Club premises in Mqabba. Most of the works of art in our possession have been painted by the famous Chev. Paul Camilleri Cauchi.

Our collection includes the representation of the four talents of art, sculpture, painting and literature. At the start of the new millenium, two paintings from this collection have been inaugurated by the President of Malta, Dr. Guido De Marco. On the 10th August 2000, the British High Commissioner, HJS Pearce, inaugurated the two remaining works of art from the 'talent representation collection'. The society also holds another two marvellous paintings, painted by the same artist, representing the 'Convoy of St. Mary' and the 'Glorification of Our Lady'.

In the very near future, the Executive Committee has the intention of proceeding with this ambitious project, by adding further paintings to our artistic hall. While we would like to thank all those who have in a way or another contributed in the development of our Millenium Project, we would also like to invite all of you, to come and give a look at our unique and very precious art centre in the village of Mqabba.
